On Tuesday, NASCAR reinstated Aaron Fike five years after he was arrested on herorin charges.

In a short paragraph from NASCAR that said Fike had successfully completed the Road to Recovery Program. Fike had been indefinitely suspended from NASCAR on July 11, 2007 following his arrest.

In 2008, Fike would tell ESPN the Magazine “I was able to race with it in my system, so [that policy] didn’t work with me.”

With the new reinstatement, Fike currently has no NASCAR Camping World Truck Series ride, as the series heads to Bristol Motor Speedway for a Wednesday night showdown this week.
