You know you love to hate them.  “Heels” play just as big a part of pro wrestling as the faces do.  They keep us tuned in to our television set week in and week out, in the hopes that they will falter.

Here’s my countdown of pro wrestling’s top ten heels of all-time. Read the rest of this entry »

Once again the NFL has done it.  Or should I say, the Dallas Cowboys have done it.  With the New York Giants loss to the Baltimore Ravens, the Sunday Night Football game for week 17 will be the Dallas Cowboys at the Washington Redskins for the NFC East crown. This will be the second year in a row in which the Dallas Cowboys will be playing for their playoff lives in prime time.  Last year’s week 17 finale against the New York Giants was one of the most watched regular season games in NFL history.

In the AFC  the teams are all locked in, just seeding needs to play out.  As of now, here are the seeds: Read the rest of this entry »

Current WWE Champion CM Punk

Current WWE Champion CM Punk

The WWE Championship has an illustrious 48 year history dating back to 1963 when Buddy Rogers was crowned the first ever WWF World Heavyweight Champion.  In the years since, the title has been won by 42 different men, some whose title reigns defined an era, and others whose time as Champion will be quickly forgotten.  Current WWE Champion CM Punk has been champion for nearly 400 days.  Punk’s title reign is the longest and without a doubt the most successful in the modern era of the WWE.  RESPECT is what Punk demands and RESPECT is what he deserves.  Thus begs the question, where does Punk rank among other greats to hold either the WWE or the WWF World Heavyweight Championship?

Here’s my countdown of the top ten greatest WWE Champions of all-time. Read the rest of this entry »

I know, I know. I should be writing about the NBA. I should be writing about the New York Knicks, their renaissance, the invasion of the Nets into Brooklyn and the epidemic that has been unleashed on our city/state/area by their makeshift fans. For that, let me lean back and apologize. I’ve been caught up by the wave of the Knicks success but I’ve also been abnormally busy. I will be sure to make some time in the future for my little corner in the TSB community. Let’s get back to the matter at hand though. Read the rest of this entry »

Yea you read that headline correctly, this weeks WAGs Wednesday features the girlfriend of New York Jets new STARTING quarterback, Greg McElroy.  I hope for the sake of Jets fans across the globe that Mark Sanchez (aka the butt fumbler aka the human turnover aka the opposing team’s MVP) remains on the bench for good.

I don’t know much about Meredith Gray other than she’s smoking hot and very down to earth.  Check out some more pictures of the loving couple: Read the rest of this entry »

J-E-T-S; Just Ended The Season

Mark Sanchez

A site all too familiar to Jets fans.

If we win out, there’s a chance we can make the playoffs. Just look at how easy that schedule is.

That was the mantra that Jets Nation was going with for the past 3 weeks. At 4-7 the Jets still had a shot to make the playoffs.

Guys Who Wear Jersey With Names on the Back That Shouldn’t Have Names on the Back

"Man we are such big Yankee fans check out our vintage jerseys with the names on the back"

“Man we are such big Yankee fans check out our vintage jerseys with the names on the back”

Don’t get it twisted Yankee fans or Yankee haters, I’m not saying that New York fans are the most obnoxious in sports.  Philadelphia fans got that title locked up.  This article isn’t about alienating an entire fanbase from TSB (EDIT: except for Philadelphia fans. Seriously.  You guys are scumbags), it’s about identifying the type of fans that are absolutely obnoxious, and people who wear jerseys with the names on the back of teams that don’t put the names on the back of jerseys tops this list.  Read the rest of this entry »
