University of Florida's quarterback Tebow celebrates with Hernandez after throwing a touchdown pass during their NCAA football game against the University of Arkansas in Gainesville

 

ESPN, the network that can never get enough Tim Tebow coverage, has hired Tim Tebow to cover NCAA Football on the SEC Network.  The interwebs and twitterverse ominously wait for the day Tim Tebow inevitably covers a Florida Gators game in which he will be forced to voice-over highlights of his own glory days.   Read the rest of this entry »

As the Dallas Cowboys were playing for their playoff lives against the Philadelphia Eagles, the NBC television crew helped the fans at home get a good view of Jerry Jones as the game went along. It started out optimistic for the Cowboys as they scratched and clawed their way back into the game. As the game went on, things started going in favor of the Eagles. This lead to a worried Jerry for the rest of the game and a hilarious reaction as Kyle Orton threw the interception at the end of the game. Please enjoy.

Anderson Silva Breaks Leg

In the 2nd round of his fight against Chris Weidman, Anderson Silva broke his leg while kicking the champion.  The first round was dominated by Weidman by staying on top of Silva and controlling the round.

In the best fight of the night so far at UFC 168, Ronda Rousey stayed undefeated (8-0) and the Women’s Bantamweight Champion, by submitting Miesha Tate with an arm bar in the 3rd round. After many attempts at her signature arm bar, Rousey finally caught Tate with the signature move in the 3rd round.

Travis Brown ufc 168

Travis Browne’s 3rd straight victory came over Josh Barnett at 1:00 of Round 1 at UFC 168.  Barnett tried to take down Browne against the fence, but the 6’7” Browne stood tall and delivered massive elbows to the head and ear of Barnett.

Masahiro Tanaka is now a free agent in Major League Baseball, let the sweepstakes begin. All MLB teams have 30 days to sign Tanaka and the final date to sign him is January 24th. Masahiro Tanaka is a 25 year old all star caliber pitcher from Japan. He went  24-0 with a 1.27 ERA and lead his Japanese team, the Golden Eagles, to the Japan Series Title.
