The Boston Bruins Daniel Paille ended game two of the Stanley Cup Finals in overtime and started the scoring in game three.

Prior to game 3, the Chicago Blackhawks Marian Hossa was scratched due to injury.

Early in the second period, Paille jumped on a loose puck deep inside the Chicago Blackhawks zone and buried a snapshot past goaltender Corey Crawford to give the Bruins a 1-0 lead.

British play by play

We are probably a little late on this one, but we just came across this fantastic YouTube clip.  It’s a video of a “British play by play” of a New York Yankees game against the Boston Red Sox.  The announcer is giving the play by play as if he’s watching a cricket match and gets utterly confused.

Justin Rose's Wife

Last night Justin Rose won the 2013 US Open, but it seems like he’s been winning for a while. Just check out his wife, Kate Rose.  It’s widely known that golfers have some of the hottest wives and girlfriends on earth.  I have no idea why, but that’s just the way it is.

Congrats on being a winner Justin!

PhilMickelsonEagleUSOpen

Phil Mickelson trails Justin Rose by 1 stroke in the final round of the US Open. Phil has had an up and down round today, but just holed out a wedge from the rough on the tenth hole for an eagle. Check out the shot and his ultra-dorky reaction to the ball going in, after the jump.

Andrew Shaw Triple Overtime
As the clock was about to strike midnight in Chicago, Blackhawks defenseman Michael Rozsival took a shot from the point that was deflected by Dave Boland in the slot and then again by Andrew Shaw past  Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask. The goal was scored with just under 8 minutes left in the third overtime.  The game became  the 5th longest in Stanley Cup history.

Boston Bruins goalie Tuuka Rask made 59 saves on 63 shots, while the Blackhawks netminder Corey Crawford, made 51 saves on 54 shots.

Ian Kennedy needs 4 k's to strikeout Yasiel Puig

Last night Ian Kennedy of the Arizona Diamondbacks not only started a major brawl, but also needed 4 strikes to strikeout Los Angeles Dodgers phenom Yasiel Puig. Just another example of how there is zero credibility in the world of Major League Baseball umpiring.

Dodgers Diamondbacks brawl

What would a Zach Greinke start be for the Los Angeles Dodgers without a few hit batters and a brawl?  But this time it wasn’t him instigating.  Last night’s starting pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks Ian Kennedy,  has actually hit more batters than anyone (22) since the start of the 2012 season.  And last night was no different.

Check out the videos of what happened after the jump.
