Amare, if healthy, needs to play at the 4 and Melo needs to play at the 3, his natural position. Of course, we know Melo will be at the 4, because he prefers it that way even if it means forcing “his friend (Amare)” out of the lineup. Melo runs the team…GOT IT!

Upgrading the PG from Ray Felton to anybody else would be a waste of time because Melo (he of the “don’t need no Point Guard” comment) views the PG as merely his personal ball caddy, not the guy who “runs the offense”. So, Ray is just fine except he needs to improve his on-ball defense (man-up!), exhibit more self-control with respect to whining about officials’ calls, and consistently penetrate into the paint whenever Melo lets him have the ball (very infrequently).

Shumpert needs to recover fully from the knee surgery and develop a consistent shot, continue to play consistent, effective “D”, and avoid imitating his older teammates with respect to committing stupid, meaningless fouls.

Chandler needs to quit yapping about foul calls, avoid taking “T”s, get and remain healthy and try to develop some offensive moves like left and right hand hook shots, just for variety to mix in with the slam dunks.

Hopefully, JR gets a really big offer from another team that the Knicks cannot match. Otherwise, if he stays, he needs to grow up, learn to focus on what needs to be done on the court like play consistent, effective defense (especially when his shot isn’t falling), drive to the rim much more frequently (higher efficiency of shots), pass more effectively, cut down on the dribbling, etc..

I could suggest numerous ways Melo could improve his all-around game but it would be a waste of my time because he is already the Team’s STAR and he doesn’t need to do anything else but show up….RIGHT!

The team should consider reacquiring Jared Jeffries for front court defense (the man knows how to take a CHARGE) and rebounding and Toney Douglas as a younger back-up PG. Now that it appears he is fully recovered from his shoulder problems, it looks like he has regained his shot.

Given all of that, Bottom-line the best the returning guys can do is improve themselves in demonstrated intelligence of play on the court and sharpen their focus. All have to improve their game in some way…EXCEPT, of course, Melo who is already the best he can possibly be.

Also, Joffrey gets off torturing people. That’s his fetish. The scenes this season with Margaery Tyrell drove that point home.

Also, did you see that CK looking dude’s curvy sword? Reminded me of the weapon of choice of the Dothraki. That dude is getting it in for sure.

I almost want to read the books to find out when they kill off Joffrey, if it ever happens at all. Most hateable TV character of all time. Downright cruel when he stole Tyrion’s step-stool at the wedding. Also, isn’t he afraid of getting it in with chicks? I didn’t understand the part when he said he was going to come and deflower Sansa at night while his peeps held her down. As far as I know he’s into torturing chicks, not sticking them.
