In a previous article months ago, I expressed my disappointment and disapproval of former Lion, Titus Young. I’m clearly not a fan. Guilty. Just as guilty as good ol’ Titus was this past weekend….TWICE in 15 hours.

As the 2013 baseball season enters its second month, New York Mets first baseman Ike Davis looks as though his major league career might not be long for this Earth. This is the second straight year that Ike has gotten off to a horrifically brutal start. Last year it was slightly understandable as his ankle wasn’t fully healed and he had a slight bout with Valley Fever. But this season after posting better than a .300 average in spring training (I know spring training doesn’t mean much.) it looked like Ike would be closer to where he was before his ankle injury in 2011. The time is near. The BCS bowl games are starting this week and college football is back to becoming a priority. After the Mayans failed to end the world, we have some great matchups to welcome in the new year. Will Notre Dame cap off their historic season with a National Championship? A site all too familiar to Jets fans.
If we win out, there’s a chance we can make the playoffs. Just look at how easy that schedule is.
That was the mantra that Jets Nation was going with for the past 3 weeks. At 4-7 the Jets still had a shot to make the playoffs.
In tradition of the holiday season, I’m in the mood for giving. All season I have provided picks and insight for the BCS games and have neglected the lesser known and/or lesser successful schools of college football. That’s about to change. Since we’re going to have the next month full of bowl games before the ‘real’ matchups are played, I figured I’d give a quick take on the bowl games most people have never even heard of.
