British play by play

We are probably a little late on this one, but we just came across this fantastic YouTube clip.  It’s a video of a “British play by play” of a New York Yankees game against the Boston Red Sox.  The announcer is giving the play by play as if he’s watching a cricket match and gets utterly confused.

The big question is, will they be able to get back to their 2008 and 2009 World Series form? Read the rest of this entry »

As any fan knows, there is nothing worse than seeing your team play poorly. From seeing disgustingly bad box score numbers to being disrespected on the radio, TV and internet, teams that perform poorly are treated like they are some sort of human subspecies.

Lets just say as a New York Mets and Jets fan, I know a little too much about this side of sports.
