There were reports going around that the Boston Celtics had re-signed Kevin Garnett for a three year deal, and now the news has been confirmed. They have also re-signed Brandon Bass and Chris Wilcox. A press conference was held to officially announce the news, with all three players present, along with general manager Danny Ainge. They were also joined by Jeff Green and Jason Terry, two players who are reportedly also moving to the team but have yet to be confirmed. However, Ainge has said that they are well on their way to resolving this issue as well, hoping to make an announcement soon regarding those particular players.
The re-signing of Garnett, Bass and Wilcox is an attempt by the Boston Celtics to keep the team strong and together. This is necessary, in light of Ray Allen leaving them in order to join Miami Heat. The Heat are rivals of the Eastern Conference and have recently become NBA Champions, something which their own fans will be proud of, having watched the deciding game either from the court itself or at home after eating dinner or playing on http://www.onlinepoker.com/.
